- Misting Bottle – Misting is needed for the humidity level
- Potable water – For misting and soaking, warm water for soaking
- Clean environment – Work clean to give other fungi and bacteria (micro organisms) no chance to contaminate.

How do I store my mushroom grow kit?
For the best results, we strongly suggest you start the mushroom kit's growth process as soon as you receive it.
Where should I store my grow kit if I cannot start right away?
The key to preserving your mushroom cultivation kit is keeping it cooled, specifically within a fridge that maintains a temperature between 2°C and 4°C.
We urge you not to cold store your mushroom grow kit for longer than 2 weeks.
Avoiding contamination
It is vital to uphold sanitary conditions and avoid rule out infection of any bacteria, fungi, yeast, or other possible contamination sources from your refrigerator. For enhanced protection, insert the grow kit in a and seal it securely.
Instructions for your GetMagic Grow Kit

Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the outside of the growkit with a dry cloth. Remove the lid but save it for later.

Pour warm water (20°C) into the growkit until it reaches the brim, replace the lid and allow it to steep for a period of just 5 minutes.

Take off the top of the grow box and ensure the water is adequately drained. Allow the grow box to drain for about 10 seconds.

Add a cup (200-250ml) of warm water (20°C) to the grow bag and place the grow box on the bottom of the bag, in the water. Then, fold down the top of the bag and fasten it with two paper clips.

Place the mushroom grow kit in a place with an average room temperature of 20-25°C. Make sure the grow kit is not in direct sunlight, under a lamp or near a radiator/heat source.
Keep the grow bag closed for the first 2 weeks, or less until the first pins/small mushrooms appear. After that, you should open the kit at least once a day to refresh the air in the bag.

As soon as the first pins are visible (or two weeks after setting up the grow kit), allow some fresh air into the grow bag every day (for a few minutes) (press the walls of the grow bag together and then fill with fresh air) and then moisten the walls of the grow kit with a spray bottle. Pinheads or pins are the first visible forms of small mushroom caps.

You can harvest your mushrooms right before the membranes at the bottom of the cap start to release. While harvesting, gently hold onto the stem and twist it either to the left or right. Once the mushroom starts to loosen, you can pull it out.

Well done, the gathering of crops is finalized. You can now cultivate a fresh batch of mushrooms by redoing steps 1 through 7 once more.
Golden Teacher Strain information
Some believe that in the 1980's a specimen of the Golden Teacher mushroom was found growing in the wild in Florida, USA. The word spread around fast, mainly because of the recognizable golden caps with yellow speckles on it. Compared to other Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom types, the Golden Teacher magic mushrooms are quite large and very elegant in its appearance.
There is a story that the Golden Teacher was actually a Hawaiian PES, renamed by an Dutch grower, because: "sometimes right before the veils break when the primordia are at their largest size before becoming mature, the entire shroom can have a golden yellowish color which vanishes when maturity starts to set in. When this xl arrive i sink it 12h and put it in window. First flush give 600g/fresh, second 135g/fresh and third.. there is about 20 pins but they abort, i am newbie and i dont know what happens. In the past i bought an XL growkit from another site and it was a disaster. I only got 3 medium sized shrooms and after the flush growkit died. So i was sceptical about buying the XL one, but my fear was in vain. The XL growkit from magic mushroom shop is high above my expectations. It was the first time i got big and compact shrooms and not the thin shrooms i was used to. The largest weighs 2.7g (dried), i waited with this review because i wanted to see what will be after the first flush, and i can say that they just keep growing so i can pick one or 2 every day or so. Everything is fine with this store! The first outbreak is 280, and I think I harvested it very early. Because only one or two hats were open. The second one is still growing, but there are noticeably fewer mushrooms, and mostly where there were none last time. The second time I filled in non-bottled water, perhaps I did not carefully harvest the first crop. In any case, it is very exciting and interesting. Thank yuo! I followed the instructions clearly to the absolute fullest, the room temperature at all times was 22-23 celcius, everything disenfected, shipping took around 8 days and I proceeded with the kit straight away. First flush produced 0.68 grams dried, I still had my hopes up for the second flush, but nothing, keeping in mind I was very patient with it, gave a third go, it's now been over 5 weeks since 3rd time, but nothing. However, based on the reviews the growkit works just fine, therefore giving this product 4 stars believing that this was a unique black swan event. Most dissapointing part is I waited so long for anything to grow, but nothing. My primary objective would be to find a resolution by receiving a replacement product, as I believe that would be the most fair action, as again based on the reviews the growkit works well and I made sure to follow the instructions diligently, makes me believe this was a unique case.Rating

It took about 20 days for first pins appear.Rating
First flush was few very large mushrooms, like 40g fresh one, totally about 200g fresh. Mushrooms were on the edges, none in the center of substrate.
Second flush - at first I was quite disappointed because again there was few mushrooms only on the top of substrate. but then I noticed that there are several growing on sides, I was concerned that they are squeezed, so I took out substrate cake to harvest them, and then I saw that there are bunch of mushrooms growing in the bottom from the perlite layer, so I put back cake in the box on the side to let those mushrooms grow normally. This flush also about 200g fresh, but smaller mushrooms and also there was quite much aborts.
Now I soaked and prepared for the 3rd flush. Put cake on the side in case mushrooms growing on all surfaces. will see how it goes.
Haven't tried to trip yet, but my wife tested 4.5g dry, they are not so strong as previous tried mushrooms from B+ kits. (Posted on 2/17/2023) - Product review Review by Mejo
