Details
Meliseptol® is a professional-grade surface disinfectant from B. Braun, the same spray used in hospitals, labs and dental clinics. For a mushroom grower, that means one thing: when you spray it on your table, your tools or your still-air box, almost nothing survives long enough to ruin a grow.
What It Does
- Kills bacteria, fungi and limited viruses on hard, non-porous surfaces
- Fast-acting — 30 to 60 seconds contact time and you are good
- Alcohol-based, evaporates clean with no residue
- Pleasant citrus scent (not the harsh "disinfectant smell" of older sprays)
- Free of quaternary ammonium compounds, amines and aldehydes
When to Use It
- Wiping down the table before you start an inoculation
- Cleaning a still-air box or flow hood between sessions
- Disinfecting tools — tweezers, scalpels, glass jars — before sterile work
- Quick spray-and-wipe of the outside of grow bags before bringing them into your fruiting space
- End-of-session clean-up to leave the workspace ready next time

How to Use
Spray a fine mist directly onto the surface from 20-30cm. Let it sit for 30-60 seconds (it will evaporate on its own), then wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel if needed. For tools, spray, let stand, and air-dry before use. Do not use on porous surfaces like untreated wood or fabric.
