OpSept Hand Disinfectant 100ml

OpSept is a professional ethanol-based hand disinfectant manufactured by Laboratorium Dr. Deppe GmbH (Germany). With 73.5g ethanol per 100g and a re-fatting formula, it sits a tier above standard 70% alcohol hand gels: fully virucidal per EN 14476 and certified for surgical hand disinfection per EN 12791. For inoculation work, agar transfers, or anything that demands the highest level of sterility, OpSept also meets EN 12791 surgical hand disinfection — a stricter standard requiring sustained reduction of skin flora over a longer period. 2 minutes of application brings hands to operating-room-grade hygiene.

Full virucidal spectrum

Where many alcohol gels stop at enveloped viruses, OpSept is tested against non-enveloped viruses as well — including norovirus, rotavirus and poliovirus. Combined with proven efficacy against bacteria (including MRSA), mycobacteria (TB), and yeasts, this makes it suitable for any cultivation environment where contamination tolerance is zero.

How to use

1. Dispense approximately 3ml into dry, clean hands.
2. Hygienic use: rub thoroughly over all skin surfaces for 30 seconds.
3. Surgical use: keep hands and forearms wet for 2 minutes, reapplying as needed.
4. Allow to evaporate fully — do not wipe or rinse.
