Contamination is the number one enemy of every mushroom grower — and the air around you carries far more spores, bacteria and dust than you would think. A simple 3-ply face mask is one of the easiest ways to lower that risk during the critical moments: injecting your bag, swabbing spore prints, transferring spawn, or just standing close to an open kit.
When to Wear It
- Inoculating an all-in-one bag or grow kit
- Loading a liquid culture syringe
- Working with spore prints, vials or swabs
- Transferring colonised substrate to a fruiting container
- Any task in front of a still-air box or flow hood

Use It Right
Single-use only. Put it on before you open any sterile container, keep it on until you have closed everything up, and dispose of it after. Combine with sterile nitrile gloves and an alcohol prep pad on the injection port for the cleanest possible workflow.
