GetMagic Ready-to-Grow Kit instructions
Applicable to all GetMagic Standard (1200 ml) and XL (2100 ml) grow kits.
Start cultivation as soon as possible for the best results. If you want to start later, store the kit in the fridge at 2–7 °C (14 days max).
The white substance in the grow box is mycelium — the root-like network of the fungus. The mushrooms grow from this mycelium. Its mould-like appearance is completely normal.
What's in the box?

Before you start
Clean your work surface with disinfecting alcohol, wash your hands and forearms thoroughly, and ideally put on sterile gloves.
Activating the grow kit (Day 1)
Soak the grow kit with water
Remove the lid and fill the grow box with water suitable for human consumption. Then, replace the lid on the grow box. Place the grow kit in the fridge for 15 to 45 minutes to soak.
⚠️ Never use distilled or demineralised water.
⚠️ Don't soak the kit for more than one hour!
Drain the water

Remove the grow box from the fridge and slightly open the lid at one corner. Hold the kit on its side to allow any excess water to drain.
Once the water stops dripping, put the grow box down on a dry and clean surface. Remove the lid, clean it, and store it for future use.
Prepare the grow kit
Pour 100–200 ml of water suitable for human consumption into the provided grow bag.
Place the grow box inside the grow bag. Fold the bag over twice, ensuring it is as high as possible to prevent any air filters from being blocked. Secure the fold using the paper clips.
Optimal growing conditions
The ideal place for your grow kit is a clean, elevated surface such as a shelf or desk — this promotes airflow around the kit.
Ensure the grow kit receives indirect daylight with a natural day-and-night light cycle.
Conditions to maintain

Temperature consistently around 23 °C, never below 20 °C — even at night.
Avoid
Maintenance (Day 3 – until harvest)
Three days after activating the kit, begin performing fresh air exchange once a day.
How to perform fresh air exchange
Does your kit need additional water?
No: When you notice condensation inside the grow bag, the humidity level is sufficient and additional misting is not needed.
Yes: When no condensation is observed, lightly spray two mists of water inside the bag after completing the air exchange. Do not spray directly on the substrate or mushrooms.
Close the grow bag by folding it and securing the paper clips in the same way as during setup.
When it comes to water: less is more! Too much water can stop mushroom growth.
Harvesting mushrooms
The first pinheads typically appear within 10 to 30 days. Afterward, the mushrooms will mature and be ready for harvest in 3 to 7 days.
When the veil beneath the caps starts to break, the mushrooms are ready for harvest, regardless of their size.

⚠️ If you wait too long to harvest, the mushrooms will release spores when their caps fully open, potentially affecting the next flush negatively.
Repeat for more harvests
After harvesting all your mushrooms, you can start over from Step 1 (activating the grow kit) to cultivate a new flush. Continue this growth cycle until the kit stops producing mushrooms.
Good luck and happy growing!
