Why choose the B+ XL?
If you already know the B+ strain — or you simply want maximum yield from day one — the 2100 ml XL kit is the way to go. Nearly double the substrate means more mycelium surface area, more pins, and significantly larger harvests across every flush.
The B+ psilocybe cubensis produces broad, fleshy caps (20–70 mm) that range from honey-gold to warm brown as they mature, set on thick, pale stems (40–125 mm) that bruise blue-green when handled. In the XL format, individual mushrooms tend to grow even larger thanks to the greater nutrient reserve in the substrate. B+ is one of the most forgiving strains available — it tolerates temperature fluctuations and minor mistakes better than almost any other cubensis.
The experience is warm, visual, and emotionally open: colourful closed-eye visuals, gentle euphoria, and a friendly headspace that suits both solo reflection and social settings. B+ sits in the moderate potency range — accessible for newer users while still delivering a full experience at standard doses.
Growing the B+ XL
The setup process is identical to the 1200 ml kit — same grow bag, same method, same temperature. The key difference is patience: the larger substrate volume means colonisation and pinning may take a few extra days compared to the standard size. This is normal. Once fruiting begins, the XL kit typically outperforms the standard kit not just in total yield but in individual mushroom size.

What's the difference between the 1200 ml and 2100 ml XL kit?

Can I use a heat mat with the XL kit?
Yes — if your room temperature drops below 21 °C, a heat mat helps maintain the ideal 24 °C. Place it underneath the kit, never directly against the grow box. The XL kit has a larger footprint than the standard size, so make sure your heat mat covers the base fully. A thermostat is recommended to prevent overheating.

The kit worked as intended, we took proper care during the growth period, and were able to harvest a good quantity after 20+ days.
It seems my wife have some sort of resistance for now, and it had just a mild effect on her. On myself, it was a very different story, as using this mushroom completely changed the way I see the world and my own life, not to mention that the day I used it, I had the most powerful experience of my life.
We want to try again with her, and I definitely gonna further my experience with it.

i already had another brands and GetMagic imho have best bags and substrat, their manual is best telling you to leave glass of water on the bottom of the bag which distribute heat and provides perfect humidity. when fruiting bag can be slightly opened as more oxygen may give more yield. heating matt or warm palce with daylight strongly recommended.Rating
