Three brands, three approaches
GetMagic®
A three-layer substrate system — perlite base, colonised grain core, vermiculite top — inside a grow box with a separate grow bag and micron filter. Reliable, well-established method with excellent airflow control. Needs misting.
FreshMushrooms®
A 100% colonised substrate cake inside a grow box with a ventilated grow bag (punched holes instead of micron filter). The simplest setup of the three — no soaking required before the first flush. Minimal effort, fast results.
Cloud920®
An all-in-one grow bag with integrated micron filters — no separate box needed. Comes with a bag clip and rubber band to prevent side growth. The most compact format and easy to tuck away in a small space.
Available strains
Each brand offers its own selection of strains. You choose one kit per brand — three kits total. Strain availability varies by brand, so check the dropdown menus when ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Do all three kits use the same growing method?
No — each brand has its own setup process. That's the point of the Combi Pack. Make sure to follow the correct instructions for each kit (see below). The methods are all straightforward, but the steps differ.
Which brand is easiest for beginners?
FreshMushrooms® is the most hands-off — no initial soaking, minimal maintenance. GetMagic® is the most proven all-rounder with consistent results. Cloud920® is the most compact and convenient. All three are beginner-friendly — the Combi Pack lets you decide which method you prefer.
Can I grow all three kits at the same time?
Yes — each kit is self-contained with its own grow bag or enclosure. Make sure each kit has enough space and that your growing area stays at 23–24 °C. Growing all three simultaneously is the best way to compare results directly.

I ordered 3 kits,thai and red boy from mondo and Amazon from fresh mushrooms and first two gave me a very good yield,thai was first and actually I'm soaking for 4th flush,(I think that there left enough of substrate for one more harvest)red boy was slow bloomer and I needed almost three weeks to see any pins and actually I'm doing my second flush with not so many flowers like in case of thai(like 200 to 100 with piece)and the most disappointing of all three was Amazon which gave me only one average harvest after two and half weeks and lately even after doing an extra soaking flushes had literally only few mushrooms(like three or four)Rating
When I'll be ordering my next strains then for sure I choose thai and two of some other strains ofc in version xxl cuz amount of work is this same for a bigger reward(but still a little discount for a disappointment with Amazon would be great)

I've bought several kits from here over the last couple of years, but this is the first time I have bought from Mondo. 2 of the 3 kits weren't ready to be opened and was mainly loose vermiculite. I tried to rescue them, but they turned mouldy within two weeks. The third I has grown a couple of mushrooms, it's not the best crop I've had, but better than nothing. Bough 3 kits and can highly recommend the supagro amazon, they grow really fast and our trip was absolutely mindblowing, ive never laughed so hard in my life with 3 friends! Highly recommend. We had a few complications with growth on the other kits but after a good discussion we have finally come to a solution thanks to the support team. Preface- ive bought from here before and was really pleased. Ive done 15 cakes in total.Rating
The cakes appeared fine and i took care of them as best I could but the pinning for all seemed to occur on the side rater than the top of the cake, fine. I flip the cakes soak and cool and restart same thing happens so the kits worked fine just not optimally that being said I had the single most insane mushroom experience on 44g (wet)+lemon juice with the Mezapecs (I wont go into it but jeez.....:) and because of the weird phenomenon described above one of the mushrooms got this wide base and just dominated the cake it weighed 39.97g on its own so I dunno wasnt ideal in some instances far exceeded expectations in others. delivery was quick and the initial condition of the cakes were fine the supa grow was kinda hard to get to pin and its yield was very low.

The Supa Gro kit was the only kit living up to my full expectations. The two grow kits that MMS provided has a number of problems.
First, they took forever to even start pinning. This already caused me some concern so I proceeded to contact customer service.
I have had no response to this day.
When they finally started growing, the fruit was nowhere near as healthy looking as the Supa Gro, not to mention that the cake has shrunk tremendously.
Now on my second flush the fruits are only looking worse and I am having a lot of mushrooms aborting in a late stage.
Meanwhile the Supa Gro kit is thriving and about to give me my third flush. I the mycelium provided by MMS is stale / sickly in comparison. I will avoid their product in the future.
