Three brands, three approaches
GetMagic®
A three-layer substrate system — perlite base, colonised grain core, vermiculite top — inside a grow box with a separate grow bag and micron filter. Reliable, well-established method with excellent airflow control. Needs misting.
FreshMushrooms®
A 100% colonised substrate cake inside a grow box with a ventilated grow bag (punched holes instead of micron filter). The simplest setup of the three — no soaking required before the first flush. Minimal effort, fast results.
Cloud920®
An all-in-one grow bag with integrated micron filters — no separate box needed. Comes with a bag clip and rubber band to prevent side growth. The most compact format and easy to tuck away in a small space.
Available strains
Each brand offers its own selection of strains. You choose one kit per brand — three kits total. Strain availability varies by brand, so check the dropdown menus when ordering.
A smart approach: pick the same strain across all three brands to compare how each method performs — or pick three different strains to maximise variety.
Frequently asked questions
Do all three kits use the same growing method?
No — each brand has its own setup process. That's the point of the Combi Pack. Make sure to follow the correct instructions for each kit (see below). The methods are all straightforward, but the steps differ.
Which brand is easiest for beginners?
FreshMushrooms® is the most hands-off — no initial soaking, minimal maintenance. GetMagic® is the most proven all-rounder with consistent results. Cloud920® is the most compact and convenient. All three are beginner-friendly — the Combi Pack lets you decide which method you prefer.
Can I grow all three kits at the same time?
Yes — each kit is self-contained with its own grow bag or enclosure. Make sure each kit has enough space and that your growing area stays at 23–24 °C. Growing all three simultaneously is the best way to compare results directly.

I ordered one Mondo B+, one Mondo Amazonian and a FreshMushrooms McKenaii grow kit.Rating
Delivery was pretty fast and unproblematic, instructions provided on website were also very clear and useful!
Even though I kept all three grow kits under the exact same conditions, only one of them - the Mondo Amazonian - survived and brought several very nice flushes (5 flushes if I’m not mistaken!). The yield of the first two ones were pretty satisfying, then decreased. The effect when taking them has been super enjoyable and calming so far, even though I just micro-dosed until now.
My rating is three stars because I’m pretty satisfied with the one kit that worked out and tbh I didn’t contact customer service earlier to report the problem because I was hoping the other kits were just a bit slower and would eventually grow - well nope. 1-Threasure Coast: This one was contaminated so I got a replacement with a different recommended strain.Rating
2-Golden Teacher from Freshmushrooms: I'm not sure I would recommend Freshmushrooms brand. They're quite easier, as the mycelium is more developed and you don't need to water them, but I got now 3 harvests of just aborts, where the pins don't grow up more then 1cm. I removed them and cold shocked them between harvests, but still nothing. Even tried to change the conditions on the third time. Anyway, I've tried the same kit last year, got fairly good yields but the mushrooms were really weak, like with 25-50% the strenghth of the other strains.
3-Mckennaii from Mondo: What a pleasure of a kit. I'm now ready to start the 4th round on this kit and it has already yield me 502g (55 dry)

This is my second set of three growboxes.Rating
Ordering and delivery worked very smoothly both times, I actually found the process quite enjoyable.
Of the first set, I caught myself a mould fungus in a single spot in one growbox, which ultimately destroyed it. However, that was my own fault most probably. The other two growboxes developed fine and my second set of three growboxes is also coming on nicely.

Had around 60g+ dry in 5 flushes quantity decreasing with each flush. First flush was a lot of small fruits from second flush it was fewer large fruits. Really good quality.
B+:
First flush was 10g dry, second was only 3g. After that it started to smell pretty bad so decided to threw it away. This FreshMushroom concept seemed a bit unorthodox to me will stick to Mondo in the future. Maybe it was just me, hopefully others will be more successful with it.
Golden Teacher:
Zero activity. Contacted support and it turned out there were some issues with that batch and they offered me a free replacement (which was very good btw).
Overally customer service is very fast and helpful, products are great so I can highly recommend them :)
