Three brands, three approaches
GetMagic®
A three-layer substrate system — perlite base, colonised grain core, vermiculite top — inside a grow box with a separate grow bag and micron filter. Reliable, well-established method with excellent airflow control. Needs misting.
FreshMushrooms®
A 100% colonised substrate cake inside a grow box with a ventilated grow bag (punched holes instead of micron filter). The simplest setup of the three — no soaking required before the first flush. Minimal effort, fast results.
Cloud920®
An all-in-one grow bag with integrated micron filters — no separate box needed. Comes with a bag clip and rubber band to prevent side growth. The most compact format and easy to tuck away in a small space.
Available strains
Each brand offers its own selection of strains. You choose one kit per brand — three kits total. Strain availability varies by brand, so check the dropdown menus when ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Do all three kits use the same growing method?
No — each brand has its own setup process. That's the point of the Combi Pack. Make sure to follow the correct instructions for each kit (see below). The methods are all straightforward, but the steps differ.
Which brand is easiest for beginners?
FreshMushrooms® is the most hands-off — no initial soaking, minimal maintenance. GetMagic® is the most proven all-rounder with consistent results. Cloud920® is the most compact and convenient. All three are beginner-friendly — the Combi Pack lets you decide which method you prefer.
Can I grow all three kits at the same time?
Yes — each kit is self-contained with its own grow bag or enclosure. Make sure each kit has enough space and that your growing area stays at 23–24 °C. Growing all three simultaneously is the best way to compare results directly.

The combi deal is great value and everything has been growing great! Only issue is the Fresh Mushroom brand - which just does not seem to want to grow, despite following the directions exactly. The "no water" thing is really weird and just does not seem to work where we are. We had the same issue the last time with Fresh M brand. I had immense success with the Cambodian, had 6 flushes with it. The bigger packs are just too much. My last adventure gave me about 100 g-s in dried form, that lasted for half a year for my friends and family. Sadly with the instant type I had trouble, but it was mid summer 40 degrees as it was travelling, so i will be sure to give it a nother try. Thank you Musketeers! From two of the three boxes, I was able to repeatedly achieve good yields. But unfortunately only from two of them! The third ('fresh mushrooms') grew the first time as the latest and had only one comparatively very small yield. In the second round, the third box was then covered with yellowish mold and was no longer usable.
I've set up a box of 'fresh mushrooms' before, which has had exactly the same result - little yield and yellow mold to follow!

I've used the Mondo kit before and it didn't disappoint this time round — a cracking first flush (over 150g fresh from a normal size kit) and the second looks set to produce loads too. The FreshMushrooms kit took longer to get going than advertised; it is growing now (big boys too), but not that many. We'll see. The GetMagic kit is taking ages, though and I'm worried I might have done something wrong. Still the instructions say it can take it's time, so, again, we'll see. Great Choice for exploring the multiple strain and kits variety! Mckennai grow in a fantastic rate and they give you a great high! Same thing for the Camboja ones! Highly reccomend it! The Fresh Mushroom kit is also a nice experience and I'd say it's even easier than the Mondo Kits. The Mexican Mushrooms grew way faster and barely require any attention.
