B+ — the beginner's classic
B+ is one of the most widely cultivated Psilocybe cubensis strains in the world. It earned that reputation through sheer reliability: B+ colonises fast, resists contamination well, and tolerates minor fluctuations in temperature and humidity better than most strains. Whether you are growing your first kit or your tenth, B+ delivers consistent results with minimal effort.
Appearance and growth
B+ mushrooms grow tall — often reaching 15 cm or more — with thick, sturdy stems and broad caps that range from caramel to golden brown. The caps start convex and flatten as they mature. Compared to other cubensis strains, B+ tends to produce fewer but larger individual mushrooms, giving the kit an impressive look at harvest time.
What to expect from this kit
This FreshMushrooms® kit is fully colonised and ready to start straight out of the box — no soaking, no watering, no preparation. Place the kit in the grow bag, fold the bag as described in the instructions, and maintain a steady 23 °C. The first pins typically appear within 7 to 10 days, with a full first harvest following at around two weeks.
Most kits produce two flushes. The first delivers the largest yield, with a second flush following after a cold-water soak. Total yield ranges from roughly 150 to 300 g of fresh mushrooms, depending on conditions and care.
Growing tips
B+ is forgiving, but a few basics help you get the most out of your kit. Keep the temperature as close to 23 °C as possible — a heat mat with thermostat helps during cooler months. I purchased 4 boxes of B+XP and 1 boxes of GT XP. In general, B+ has some good properties, includig easy to grow, large yield. So I can recommend to anyone, especially for the beginners. The srooms were started pinning about after 1 week , after then just bigger&bigger. I'm waiting for productivity of GT XP. I'm very curios.Rating

First had the SupaDrow which moulded right away. Then I received those ones as a substitute which was nice. But in comparison to the regular growing kit way less outcome, takes longer and also not as potent. I still definitely recommend the regular grow kit. Wouldn't buy this one though. I made almost all the mistakes possible, and I still had growth.Rating
No precaution regarding germs, I watered after the shrooms started growing and sometimes forgot to water. I still had a great first flush that took me out of this world. I started second cycle and took off on vacation for a week, when I returned home, another flush, even bigger then the fist! Then I left the growbox submerged in water for 5 days in the fridge and now the third round of shrooms are starting to grow, this is absolutely amazing, easy and cheap! Produced a reasonable amount of B+ and so easy to grow. The only thing is the bag is a bit smaller than other grow kits i've had previously so had a little issue with it touching the sides of the container which forced water onto the top of the material. Started pinning after a week and first flush another week later.
1st flush: 240g wet, 32g dry
2nd flush: ~50g wet (harvested over the course of several days and didn't document properly)
First flush was IMPRESSIVE, however, 'tis a shame the 2nd flush didn't perform well, but that was already disclosed by the shop in the description, so can't complain.

The first box contaminated on first flush so I had to discard. I literally only got a handful from this box after a month or so. The second box took ages to fruit, the shrooms grew from the sides and I've had one small flush, waiting to see if we get another after rewatering.

I've had B plus in the past and never had a problem. However this time around one of my kits got contaminated off the bat despite me maintaining strict hygiene standards and using an air purifyer. I managed to get a handful of shrooms off this box and had to bin it.Rating
Another problem I had was that the shrooms grew on the sides of the kit rather than the top, odd I've never had this before.
My second kit has just started fruiting after WEEKS. I have a few big shrooms but the vast majority of the mycelium is bare... Again not what I expect, usually the whole tub is populated as in pictures.
Can't really recommend these, I think they are using a different supplier or something. Off the few I did harvest I had a good trip but they aren't any different or stronger than B plus I've had in the past.
