B+ — the beginner's classic
B+ is one of the most widely cultivated Psilocybe cubensis strains in the world. It earned that reputation through sheer reliability: B+ colonises fast, resists contamination well, and tolerates minor fluctuations in temperature and humidity better than most strains. Whether you are growing your first kit or your tenth, B+ delivers consistent results with minimal effort.
Appearance and growth
B+ mushrooms grow tall — often reaching 15 cm or more — with thick, sturdy stems and broad caps that range from caramel to golden brown. The caps start convex and flatten as they mature. Compared to other cubensis strains, B+ tends to produce fewer but larger individual mushrooms, giving the kit an impressive look at harvest time.
What to expect from this kit
This FreshMushrooms® kit is fully colonised and ready to start straight out of the box — no soaking, no watering, no preparation. Place the kit in the grow bag, fold the bag as described in the instructions, and maintain a steady 23 °C. The first pins typically appear within 7 to 10 days, with a full first harvest following at around two weeks.
Most kits produce two flushes. The first delivers the largest yield, with a second flush following after a cold-water soak. Total yield ranges from roughly 150 to 300 g of fresh mushrooms, depending on conditions and care.
Growing tips
B+ is forgiving, but a few basics help you get the most out of your kit. Keep the temperature as close to 23 °C as possible — a heat mat with thermostat helps during cooler months. I quite enjoyed my experiences with these little friends. And there's a reason I call them friends, because they fell less like a plant/fungi and more like a concious being. I even play music for them while theyre growing and they seem to like it as I've never had a single hiccup so far. One time my scale broke so I had to eyeball my dose and it was a bit overwhelming at first but after a few minutes I got a strong sense of euphoria, well-being and at one point I was literally seeing a black and white waterfall of geometry. Like that Warcraft 3 unit used to say "I can see my ancestors" and, boy did I. I got some valuable lessons from that trip. Bottom line is product is amazing and very potent and I've even used it to microdose once or twice which put me in a wonderfull mood for the whole day. Also I have SIGNIFICANTLY lowered my benzo and opiate use since I started growing. In fact I tapered down the codeine and it's been 3 days since my last dose. Even got myself a new job. Treat them more like beneficial medicine and they will help you in turn. They just happen to have the added bonus of being fun too :). Ordered 2 B+ kits plus some dragon truffles. For whatever reason they only gave me 1 kit + the dragons. After a few quick emails they decided to send me the other free of charge. Managed to get 3 flushes from the first (waiting on the 4th) and 1 so far from the other (waiting for the 2nd flush). Truffles weren't bad either tho I prefer regular shrooms. Also, these little mofos are resilient as f*ck. I had knee surgery shortly after the 1st flush so my room was basically a mess because I had a hard time cleaning. Still, I got better results then expected. I am sure if I had more experience and could move around freely I would have gotten even better results. Order 2 B+ growkits. plus some magic truffles (dragons). For whatever reason they only sent me 1 of the growkits but after a few emails they decided to give me the next one free of charge. My first one is on it's fourth flush. 2nd one seemed to be a lot more potent but I am still waiting for the 2nd harvest. Truffles weren't bad either. Overall I am quite happy with the service and even with my miniscule experience I still managed to get a decent amount of shrooms. Not to mention these little fuckers are resilient as f*ck as I had knee surgery shortly after the 1st flush and despite my room being a mess they STILL managed to grow strong. I am sure if I had more experience and I didn't need to walk on crutches I would have gotten even better results. Pinheads came quickly.
Got mold shortly after, in spite of being very careful, so harvested a few large and many tiny mushrooms.
Maybe this contributed to a stronger trip than intended?
Aimed for a large (5 g) dose, was completely torn out of body and self, paralyzed, far away in space for hours.

When I received this product, I was excited and followed the instructions, which were very simple. It didn't require any maintenance at all. I just put the kit in the bag in required position and waited. Ocasionally I changed the position according to the instructions. I got my first flush in 9 days from the day I received the kit. It was around 130g of wet mushrooms.Rating
Then I put water in the kit for 12 hours and started whole process again. Second flush was only around 25g wet. I think I messed up somewhere for getting such a small flush. Will try one more kit.

After 3 ,5 weeks the Shrooms stoped growing at 2 cm of hight. There are like 30 litle Shrooms. I would post a picture if i could.Rating

The yields of first five kits: 178, 206, 206, 230 and 246g. This time, of three kits: 221, 136 and 52 (!). And--yes--I followed the different instructions meticulously, as always.
