Three brands, three approaches
GetMagic®
A three-layer substrate system — perlite base, colonised grain core, vermiculite top — inside a grow box with a separate grow bag and micron filter. Reliable, well-established method with excellent airflow control. Needs misting.
FreshMushrooms®
A 100% colonised substrate cake inside a grow box with a ventilated grow bag (punched holes instead of micron filter). The simplest setup of the three — no soaking required before the first flush. Minimal effort, fast results.
Cloud920®
An all-in-one grow bag with integrated micron filters — no separate box needed. Comes with a bag clip and rubber band to prevent side growth. The most compact format and easy to tuck away in a small space.
Available strains
Each brand offers its own selection of strains. You choose one kit per brand — three kits total. Strain availability varies by brand, so check the dropdown menus when ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Do all three kits use the same growing method?
No — each brand has its own setup process. That's the point of the Combi Pack. Make sure to follow the correct instructions for each kit (see below). The methods are all straightforward, but the steps differ.
Which brand is easiest for beginners?
FreshMushrooms® is the most hands-off — no initial soaking, minimal maintenance. GetMagic® is the most proven all-rounder with consistent results. Cloud920® is the most compact and convenient. All three are beginner-friendly — the Combi Pack lets you decide which method you prefer.
Can I grow all three kits at the same time?
Yes — each kit is self-contained with its own grow bag or enclosure. Make sure each kit has enough space and that your growing area stays at 23–24 °C. Growing all three simultaneously is the best way to compare results directly.

I actually bought these by mistake, I meant to buy just Mondo growkits, which I was used to, but then I realized I've been missing out on other types. I think I'll be buying Get Magic growkits from now on, since they're ridiculously easy to handle. I was glad to make this mistake to be able to compare the kits among themselves. 4 stars because the difference in the yield was pretty significant and because the manual for fresh mushroom kits is a bit ambiguous (it mentions "cold shock", but it also just says to fill the tubs with water, not cold water, nor to put the tubs in the refrigerator).Rating

This is not my first order, and so far I have never had any problems. In fact, with my penultimate order, I was even sent a completely new product because mould had started to grow on my original set – so there are no negative points in that regard.Rating
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the Fresh Mushroom grow kits. These are supposed to score points with a short cultivation time, and that is true: the first pins appear after about a week, and 1–2 weeks later, they can already be harvested. In my case, however, the yield of the first flush was only half as large as with the other sets (Mondo and GetMagic). And these didn't really take much longer to grow.
Even though it's only a few euros, the Fresh Mushroom sets are more expensive. In my opinion, they are therefore only recommended if you really want to harvest within a few weeks or are growing for the first time (since the process is a bit easier).
Personally, I find the standard GetMagic set to be by far the best – nothing comes close.
Accordingly, I think it would be good if you could choose how often you want to get which one when choosing between the three brands (Fresh Mushroom, Mondo, and GetMagic). (Posted on 12/4/2024) - Great when it works Review by AARON

I bought the combo deal. Payment and delivery were smooth but when I opened the grow kits, one had already starting growing 2 mushrooms, pressed flat up against the lid. I followed the instructions regardless and a couple of weeks on that growkit hasn’t changed at all while other 2 are flourishing. I will add I’ve bought from this site multiple times and this is my first negative experience. Still frustrating though to waste money and time. Now my new favorite is a "fresh" one, it does not need daily care and the result comed in 13 days.

My second attempt and success again. Three flushes of Golden Teacher, four of Cambodian and even five of Mckennaii! So far I was familiar of Golden teachers visual and mental potency as of Camodian wonderful body sensation. Now I grew Mckennaii for the first time and they were really big and the trip was fantastic. You are doing a great job!!! I bought the 3 kit package for the first time. In the past I bought the Mexican and McK of FreshMushroom. This is the first time I bought the Cambodian of GetMagic, and Mexican of Mondokits.Rating
The Cambodian of GetMegic was very good. I got few flashes with good yield. Easy to maintain too. And the trip was excellent. The McK of FreshMushroom was good as before. However, in the Mexican kit there was a contimination in the beginning of the first flash. I contacted customer service, and they offered me a replacement kit for free, and it arrived after few days.
