Albino Tex PE6 (ATP6) Liquid Culture Syringe – Cloud920

Albino Tex PE6 (ATP6) is a Hybrid Fusion cultivar of Psilocybe cubensis — the leucistic isolation of the Texas × Penis Envy 6 hybrid line, with pale meaty fruits, thick dense stems and a prolific flushing pattern. High potency in the Penis Envy family, medium-fast vigorous colonization, and near-transparent spores that make it a living-culture-only cultivar. Cloud920 supplies it as a 10cc liquid culture syringe with a separately sealed sterile needle for moderate to advanced growers.

About the Albino Tex PE6 (ATP6) liquid culture

The Albino Tex PE6 (ATP6) liquid culture is a Hybrid Fusion cultivar of Psilocybe cubensis. It is the albino/leucistic isolation of Tex PE6 — a Texas cubensis × Penis Envy 6 hybrid line that blends Texas robustness with PE-family morphology. Cloud920 places ATP6 in the Hybrid Fusion Series. That series is reserved for cultivars bred and stabilized in cultivation, not collected from the wild. ATP6 delivers pale, dense, PE-influenced fruits with strong flushing and a moderate difficulty profile — a good pick for growers who want an albino PE hybrid without the hardest edges of pure PE mutations.

Origin and history of the ATP6 strain

ATP6 traces back to the Tex PE6 project. The original Tex PE6 (non-albino) is credited to a Shroomery-forum breeder often referenced as RogerRabbit, developed around 2012 and leaked more widely around 2016. The albino/leucistic isolation known as ATP6 or Albino Tex PE6 was later worked up by Basidium Equilibrium, who released it as isolated spore syringes and swabs. "Albino" here means leucistic — pigment is reduced across cap and stipe rather than fully absent, and fruits still bruise blue where handled.

Because the albino PE-family tissue drops sparse, low-viability spores, ATP6 is propagated and traded as living culture rather than spore print. That is why the liquid culture syringe is the standard format for this cultivar.

Cloud920 works with a stabilized ATP6 isolate. We propagate it on agar and scale it via liquid culture in a controlled lab environment. That keeps the pale morphology and dense PE-hybrid fruit structure consistent from syringe to syringe.

What makes this ATP6 culture distinctive

Three traits set ATP6 apart from other PE-family cultivars. First, fruits present as white to pale ivory across cap and stipe with thick, dense, meaty stems — a clear PE morphology signal softened by the Texas parent. Second, colonization is medium-fast and vigorous, faster than pure PE lines and closer to a Texas cubensis in speed. Third, ATP6 is a prolific fructifier: a dense canopy of fruits per flush, with medium-high yields and reliable multi-flush behaviour.

Because ATP6 inherits PE-family reproductive traits, it drops very few spores — this is expected, not a defect. Difficulty is moderate: ATP6 is friendlier than pure PE mutations thanks to the Texas parent, but still rewards growers who already handle their casing, humidity and FAE well. Sterile technique still matters here, though the fast colonization narrows the contamination window compared to slower PE isolates.

Looking for a comparable competition-grade PE-family cultivar? Look at MAK95 (Penis Envy heritage) or CAPE (Caucasian Albino Penis Envy) from Cloud920. Looking for a Wild Origin landrace for a first cubensis grow? Compare to Ecuador or Cambodia from Cloud920.

ATP6 potency profile

ATP6 sits in the high-potency range for the Penis Envy family. No peer-reviewed lab data is published specifically for the albino Tex PE6 variant. Vendor reports and community data from Tanasi Gardens and Zombie Myco position it in the high tier, with total tryptamine on the standard Tex PE6 parent averaging around 0.7%. That places ATP6 clearly above common cubensis strains like Golden Teacher or B+, though below the very top of pure PE isolates.

Subjective effects are described as visual and introspective, with a smooth come-up at equivalent doses and a total trip duration of four to six hours. Substrate, harvest timing and drying method still drive more of the final potency than the strain label alone.

What you get in your Cloud920 syringe

You get a 10cc syringe of Cloud920 ATP6 mycelium. A separately sealed sterile needle is included. The syringe holds QC-verified mycelium suspended in the Cloud920 nutrient broth. Each batch is produced in a controlled lab environment with viability, sterility and morphology QC checks.

How to inoculate with this liquid culture

Cloud920 recommends 2-3 cc per small grain bag, 3-4 cc per medium bag, and 4-5 cc per large bag. Flame the needle before injection. Work in a still-air box or under laminar flow. Wipe the injection port with 70% isopropanol before and after.

ATP6 colonizes vigorously. Expect visible mycelial growth in 3-7 days at 22-27 °C. Full grain colonization typically completes in 10-16 days under stable conditions. Fruit at 22-26 °C and 85-95% relative humidity. Expect a dense canopy of pale, meaty fruits with thick stems and modest cap size. Yields per flush are medium-high with two or more flushes standard. Store the syringe cold, dark and upright, and use within the shelf life printed on the label.

Frequently asked questions

Is ATP6 a good beginner strain?
Moderate. ATP6 is friendlier than pure Penis Envy mutations thanks to the Texas parent — colonization is faster and yields are more reliable. But it still carries PE-family reproductive traits and rewards clean sterile technique. First-time cubensis growers are better served with a Wild Origin landrace such as Ecuador or Cambodia from Cloud920. Growers who have completed one or two successful cubensis rounds can approach ATP6 comfortably.

Why does ATP6 drop so few spores?
ATP6 inherits the low-spore reproductive pattern of the Penis Envy lineage. Albino PE-family tissue drops sparse, low-viability spores — around 7×12 μm and with poor discharge — which makes traditional spore prints impractical. That is why ATP6 is sold as liquid culture rather than as a spore print — expected behaviour for this cultivar, not a sign of poor culture.

Is ATP6 truly albino?
Technically leucistic rather than fully albino. That means reduced pigment across cap and stipe rather than no pigment at all. Visually it reads as white to pale ivory, and fruits still bruise blue where damaged. The chemistry (psilocybin, psilocin, baeocystin) aligns with the broader Penis Envy family.

Is this Cloud920 ATP6 culture lab-verified?
Yes. Every Cloud920 batch is produced in a controlled lab environment. We run viability, sterility and morphology QC checks before the syringe is filled and sealed.
