Details
TightVac storage containers (also called stash boxes) keep their contents fresh by removing air with every close. The patented one-way valve compresses the air out as you press the lid, creating a low-pressure vacuum that protects against moisture, oxygen and odor exchange. The Solid Black version adds something the Clear version cannot: 100% light-blocking.
Why Solid Black instead of Clear?
Light degrades the active compounds in many natural products. Psilocybin in dried mushrooms and truffles breaks down under both UV and visible light, converting to inactive quinones. The same happens to cannabinoids in cannabis (THC turning into CBN), chlorophyll in matcha, and vitamins A, B2 and C in supplements. A transparent container — even one stored in a dark cupboard — cannot guarantee protection if a door is opened or a light is switched on. Solid Black does.

How the vacuum seal works
- Slide the button on the side to release the lid and open the container.
- Place your content inside.
- Press the lid down with the button held in. As the air escapes through the one-way valve, you'll feel the lid drop into place.
- Release the button — the vacuum holds the lid firmly shut.
To open: slide the same button. The vacuum releases with an audible click.
