How to fill capsules — 7 steps

1. Dry your mushrooms to cracker-dry — they should snap, not bend.
2. Grind to fine powder with an electric coffee grinder.
3. Place the 24 size 1 capsule bottoms in the bottom tray of the machine.
4. Pour your powder over the tray and spread evenly with the spreader card.
5. Tamp gently with the tamper tool — repeat 2–3 times for denser fills.
6. Brush off excess, place the top tray with cap halves, press together firmly.
7. Store filled caps in a light-proof TightVac stashbox with silica gel.
