A single sterile alcohol prep pad — 70% isopropyl, sealed in foil until you peel it open. The standard tool to wipe down any injection port before pushing a needle through it.
Use one per injection, throw it away after. They are cheap, they keep your spawn clean, and there is no reason ever to skip this step.

Details
An alcohol prep pad is the smallest tool in your cultivation kit, but skipping it is one of the easiest ways to ruin a perfectly good grow. The injection port on a grow bag, an all-in-one kit or a liquid culture vial sits exposed to air, dust, fingers and whatever else has been near it. Wiping it down with a sealed sterile pad takes two seconds and removes that variable completely.
What It Is
- Single sterile non-woven pad soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol
- Sealed in a foil sachet until use
- Single-use — throw away after wiping one surface
How to Use
Peel the foil open, wipe the injection port (or the spot you are about to inject through) in one direction for a few seconds, let it air-dry, then push the needle through. Always use a fresh pad for each new injection — re-using one defeats the point.
