Why a starter pack?
Hygiene is the single biggest factor in a successful grow. Contamination from skin bacteria, airborne spores, or unclean surfaces is the most common reason a grow kit fails — especially for beginners. The Starter Pack takes the guesswork out of preparation: gloves, sanitiser, and a face mask are included so you can work clean from the start. The heating mat ensures a stable temperature even in cooler rooms or seasons, which directly impacts how quickly and evenly your mushrooms fruit.
What to expect
The FreshMushrooms® kit is fully colonised and ready to start straight out of the box — no soaking, no watering, no preparation. Place the kit in the grow bag, fold the bag as described in the instructions, and maintain a steady 23 °C using the included heating mat. The first pins typically appear within 7 to 10 days, with a full first harvest following at around two weeks.
Most kits produce two flushes. The first delivers the largest yield, with a second flush following after a cold-water soak. Total yield ranges from roughly 150 to 300 g of fresh mushrooms, depending on strain choice, conditions, and care.
How to store your kit
Start growing as soon as possible for the best results. If you need to wait, store the unopened kit in the fridge at 2–8 °C for up to four weeks after the production date. Never freeze the kit.

Quick delivery, great product. Got 22 dried grams from first flush! Will be ordering more definitely. Pretty straight forward. I'm sure I made a few mistakes as I think the mycelium got infected after the first flush. It was still worth the price though for 22 grams i.m.o. Will try and keep it cleaner the next time. Growing was slow initially taking 14 days to see buds and I had to turn the heat mat back on and stop watering sooner than the instructions stated. Harvested about 8-9 days later. The instructions could definitely be updated and be more detailed but it is reasonably straight forward and alot of fun so I would highly recommend it to others. I think its a great price. This is my first ever kit. Just plucked my first flush. 150g, and I harvested early because 1 shroom was opening, after 12 days since it arrived! What can I say, so easy to use, great customer service. Delivery was quick, it took 1 day for them to answer my product question after it arrived (for advice). Second flush is started already. I ordered the full started kit. Freshmushroom B+. Make sure you lift the thermo mat up a bit to diffuse. (Their video is out of date) . Lastly, I work in a clean room and understand the importance of sterility. Be clean, use soap, alcohol, face mask, everything they say. Fresh water for each mist. Thanks so much MMS.
