Don't Take the Consumption of Magic Mushrooms Lightly
⚠️ Before you start making chocolate magic mushrooms, first make sure you understand the basics of safe use.

Why Eating Them Natural Is Better
Mixing your Magic Mushrooms with drinks or food should be a last resort. The best approach is to go natural. Why? Because psilocybin is a chemical compound that must be absorbed by your body. When food is also being processed, it can reduce the effect of the active ingredient. As a result, you might not experience much at all. If you want to explore other options, check out our guide on how to cook with magic mushrooms for more recipes and tips.
Nevertheless, if you have a sensitive palate, our easy chocolate magic mushrooms recipe will do the trick. Moreover, chocolate actually pairs well with the earthy flavour of dried mushrooms.
What You Will Need
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Milk chocolate bar | For example Milka or any brand you like |
| Dry magic mushrooms | 1.5 grams or less — never more (see our Dosage Guide) |
| Silicone cooking mold | A fun shape like dinosaurs — because dinosaurs are always cool! |

Steps for This Easy Magic Mushrooms Recipe (1 Person)
Melt the Chocolate
Take one portion of chocolate (one column of squares) and put it in a bowl. Then melt it in the microwave. Be vigilant — chocolate can burn in the microwave oven. Therefore, heat it in short 15-second intervals and stir between each round.
Grind the Mushrooms
Next, grind your dry magic mushrooms into a fine powder. After that, place a single dose (1.5 g) into one dinosaur mold.
Let the Chocolate Cool
Allow the melted chocolate to cool a bit, BUT don't let it become solid again.
⚠️ Important: Psilocybin starts to break down at temperatures above 70 °C. Consequently, you should let your melted chocolate cool below this threshold before mixing it with the ground mushrooms. This way, you preserve full potency.

Combine and Pour
Pour the melted but cooled chocolate into the mold, covering the mushroom powder completely. Make sure the powder is evenly distributed.
Refrigerate
Put the mold in the fridge and let the chocolate become solid. This usually takes about 30 minutes.
Enjoy Responsibly
Finally, eat the chocolate and happy tripping! For instance, try enjoying it on an empty stomach for stronger effects. In addition, always make sure you have a trusted friend nearby, especially if this is your first time. You can also brew a Magic Mushrooms tea alongside your chocolate for a warming combo.
