Origin & Genetics

AMTP is a direct hybrid of two legendary parent strains. The first parent is Melmak PE — also known as Homestead Penis Envy — a heavily mutated Penis Envy variant developed through decades of selective breeding by the Homestead Book Company in the Pacific Northwest. Melmak is famous for its gnarly contorted thick stems, wavy split caps, and above-average PE potency. Individual fruits regularly break into the "100 club" — specimens over 100 grams fresh. The name itself is a nod to the fictional home planet of ALF, the 1980s TV alien, referencing how otherworldly this mushroom looks. The second parent is True Albino Penis Envy, isolated by mycologist Basidium Equilibrium (Bas). Unlike leucistic or partially white PE variants, True Albino PE carries a stable, generation-to-generation full absence of pigmentation — complete white, cap to base. AMTP combines both: the dense massive Melmak build with a stable true albino expression. The fruits come out snow-white with heavy blue bruising that signals high psilocybin concentration, and the caps stay wavy and irregular in classic Melmak fashion — not flat, not uniform.

How the Cloud920 Grow Bag Works

• Open once — fold the bag open in a clean space to allow fresh air in and trigger pinning.
• Place and wait — put the bag in indirect light at 23°C. No soaking, no misting required in the first phase.
• Ventilate daily from day 10 — briefly open the bag, press out stale air, let fresh air in, close again (under 30 seconds). Stop when pins appear; resume daily ventilation between flushes.
• Harvest and repeat — see "When to harvest" below for the right timing. Twist and pull at the base. Rehydrate and repeat for additional flushes.

When to harvest Albino Melmak TP

Albino Melmak TP is a top-shelf albino hybrid and does not follow the classic "harvest when veil breaks" rule. Its veils often tear early — sometimes just a day or two after pins form — and this is not the harvest signal. Wait for these two indicators:

• Cap edges curl upward — when the caps have fully opened and the edges start to curl or flip up, growth has completed. Do not pick when caps are still expanding.
• Marshmallow-soft stem — gently squeeze the stipe near the base (through the bag is fine). If it feels like celery or a firm apple, wait. If it gives like a slightly deflated marshmallow — springy but soft — harvest now.

AMTP inherits Melmac PE-style dense stipes, so the marshmallow-soft test is especially reliable — the stem is thick enough that changes in firmness are easy to feel through the bag.
