Years of planning and testing has resulted in the next generation of Mondo® Treasure Coast Magic Mushroom grow kits. The Mondo® Grow Kit Treasure Coast has become better than it ever was. Compared to the first generation of Psilocybe cubensis Mondo® Treasure Coast Grow Kit, the next generation is improved with:
- Larger yields, more mushrooms
- More flushes*
- Better resistance against contaminations
- Different, but easier instructions
*some strains produce more flushes than others. The first three flushes are the largest.
Meet the new standard of easy grow kits
The Psilocybe cubensis Mondo® Treasure Coast Magic Mushroom grow kit is slightly different than the grow kits you might have seen before. This is seen only in the substrate recipe and is a secret not just shared with everyone. Not even with us! After opening the carton box you will first see the familiar micronfilter.
Just like the previous and other easy grow kits, you do not need to use additional spores. During the laboratory process, the spores have developed into mycelium inside the substrate (the cake) in the grow box.
How to store the grow kit correctly
It is recommended to start the cultivation process right away. If you decide to start growing later, you may store the grow kit in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for 2 weeks. First, wrap the grow kit in a plastic shopping bag and close it well.

- 1x grow bag – The bag has a micron filter to keep contaminants out
- 1x reusable yellow seal – For closing the grow bag.
You need
- Misting Bottle – Misting is needed for the humidity level
- Potable water – For misting and soaking
- Clean environment – Work clean to give other fungi and bacteria (micro organisms) no chance to contaminate.
We recommend to use
- (when room temperature drops below 18°C)
How to prepare the room and yourself before you begin
- Close any open windows. Wind or draft may bring microorganisms that can contaminate the Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic Mushroom grow kit.
- When taking out the grow box with the cake from the carton box, put it on a disinfected surface. If this surface would not be clean, micro organisms may attach to the grow box and will flourish inside the Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic Mushroom grow kit, and will contaminate the grow box.
- Make sure you work with clean hands and arms. We recommend using surgical gloves or a good disinfectant when handling the kit. You should use a facemask to avoid breathing into the grow bag and on the cake.
Starting the process
- Fill the box with fresh, potable water. Close the grow box well and let is soak for 12 hours.
- After 12 hours, pour the surplus of water out of the grow box.
- Place the grow box inside the grow bag. The open end of the bag should point upwards.
- Remove the lid from the grow box. Rinse the lid, and store it in the carton box.
- Fold the open end of grow bag twice; do not cover the micron filter.
- Place the reusable yellow seal on the fold, so the bag stays closed. Now the Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic Mushroom grow kit is ready to grow.
- Place the Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic Mushroom grow kit inside the carton box, on top of the ziplock with lid.
Temperature
The ideal temperature is 24°C. Do not have the temperature drop under 18°C and not exceed 29°C. To keep the temperature from dropping under the 18°C, you can use a thermo mat to maintain the ideal temperature. A thermo mat is a must-have in the winter or colder regions of the world.
Light
The Psilocybe cubensis Mondo® Treasure Coast Magic Mushroom Grow Kit only needs light for the mycelium to ‘understand’ it has reached the surface. Only then, mushrooms will grow. A few hours of fluorescent/artificial light or indirect sunlight a day is more than enough. Direct sunlight kills the mycelium, so avoid the sun to shine directly on the grow kit.
Water / Misting
The day after you start the process you begin with misting. Open the grow bag by removing the reusable yellow seal. Do not spray directly on the cake, but spray one time against every side of the bag. So you mist once a day, four sprays. Misting also vents fresh oxygen inside the bag. Right after misting, close the bag again with the reusable yellow seal.
Mushrooms
If the conditions are optimal, you can expect the first small mushrooms (the pins) to appear between 5 and 16 days. This also depends on the strain. Some cubensis strains grow slower than others.
Flushes
The mushrooms come up in groups. This can be a small or large group. That depends on the strain. A growth like this is called a flush. Mushrooms are almost never ripe at the same time. You can get more than one flush out of a kit. The first two flushes are the largest. When more flushes come, they will be smaller than the previous one.
Picking
Mushrooms are ripe and should be picked when the veil between the hat and the stem has just torn. Don’t wait much longer. Use surgical gloves or disinfect your hands, wrists and arms. Pick the mushrooms that are ripe and let the others continue to grow. Remove the mushrooms from the cake by taking hold of the base of the mushroom between thumb and index finger. Rotating your hand clockwise slowly, until the mushroom lets go. Do not pull out the mushrooms. This would risk damaging the mycelium and killing it. When most of the larger mushrooms have been picked, also pick the smaller ones and the pins as well.
Mushrooms that grow from the sides
Mushrooms grow where the light reaches and where there is little penetrating resistance. Because the cake has light shining on the sides, the mushrooms might also grow there. It is hard to counter this and can be allowed. Some growers wrap the sides of the grow box in aluminum foil to keep the sides dark, but this doesn’t always work well.
When mushrooms grow there, they can be picked just before you soak the kit:
Clean hands! Take the grow box out of the bag and place it upside down on your other hand. Wiggle the plastic box so that the cake will fall out, onto your hand. The plastic box can be placed on a disinfectant surface. Now you have this hand free to pick the mushrooms from the sides of the cake. When all mushrooms are picked, you can place the cake back as it was, in the plastic box and continue to the soaking process.
Soaking
After all the mushrooms have been picked, you prepare the kit for the next flush. Again, with disinfected hands or gloves; take the grow box out of the grow bag. Fill the box with fresh, potable water. Take the lid out of the ziplock bag and use it to close the grow box. Place the closed grow box in a soaking Bag or use your own clean plastic shopping bag and wrap it around the box. Close it well and place this in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for 12 hours. This is called the soaking process. Water will now soak through the cake, preparing it for the next flush.
During the soaking you can hang the grow bag with micronfilter upside down to dry. Make sure to hang it upside down, so no micro organisms will access the bag. Many growers prefer to use new and unused grow bags after every flush.
After 12 hours take the soaking Bag with the grow box, out from the fridge and unpack it.
Next Flush
To continue, follow the same steps 3 – 7 as before when you started the process for the first time. Several days later, a new flush will appear. You can get at least 2 or 3 flushes out of a Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic mushroom grow kit. If you are experienced in cultivating, you can get more flushes out of a kit.
The end
When no more mushrooms grow out of a grow kit after the second flush for at least three weeks, or when the Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic Mushroom grow kit turns green, red, grey or yellow; the grow kit can be disposed of. The change in color is a sign that the grow kit is contaminated with another fungus or a bacteria. No more mushrooms will grow out of the Psilocybe cubensis 'Treasure Coast' Magic mushroom grow kit and the grow kit should be thrown away in the garbage outside.
Spores
When you are too late picking the mushrooms, they will drop their spores. The cake and the mushrooms will turn black/purple (some other cubensis strains red/brown) because of the spores. This is not really a problem; it just doesn’t look very pretty. When mushrooms release their spores, they also start to degrade and the active ingredients are breaking down. Mushrooms will lose some of their potency.

5 years ago I grew Hawaian and B+. The B+ were very potent and my favourite. Now I can add Treasure Coast to the list of my favourites. Just harvested the 4th flush. After the first flush I took 3.5 gram dry on an empty stomach. Stong trip for 6+ hours and the best visuals I`ve ever had. 2nd time I only took 1.5 gram dry. It took a while but I ended up with a full box of mushrooms. My frist try with 2 grams left me with a warm glowy feeling and a hand full of valuable insights. My second trip with 6 grams took me to the edges of the cosmos where I lost all cohesion. An outpoor of emotion comforted by the warm embrace of the cosmos. But the hang over... oh my, the mother of all headaches and my body feeling like a wrung out tube of toothepaste. An amazing experience but won't be signing up for another trip anytime soon. the effects of this strain are completely mindblowing. 5g was one of the most intense experiences in my life, really visual and of transcendental beauty and love :) (just listen to some grateful dead or shpongle :D)
so of all the strains i tried, treasure coast is where i most felt what the mushroom and psychedelic experience should be like.

Ik heb pas 1 trip gehad op deze paddo's, het was de meest geweldige trip die ik ooit gehad heb!!! Helaas niet helemáál objectief omdat ik ook al oxazepam en speed had gebruikt.
Wel een ultieme aanrader trouwens! Deze combinatie heeft me mijn nr 1 drugavond bezorgd!!! :D

Hatte mit zum ersten mal ein Growkit geholt und auch zuvor nix damit am hut gehabt.Rating
Zu anfang Wuchsen die Pilze sehr klein und krüpellig und sahen so ganicht aus wie auf den Bildern. Hab den Service angeschrieben und nach dem Tip das die Pilze mehr Sauerstoff brauchte habe ich mehr gelüftet.
Siehe da 5 Tage Später Schöne grosse Pilze wie auf den Fotos. Hab mir auch schon ein Tee mit den guten gegönnt und ich kann sie nur empfehlen klasse wirkung.

I've spent this summer tripping on 'shrooms at least once a week thanks to this site. I thought I'd try these for my last GrowKit. Bad timing meant I went away on holiday and missed harvesting my 1st flush. When I got back I decided to leave many of the shriveled 'shrooms in the box and set about watering the box again, (thinking that they may as well stay where they were and hoping they'd make a good compost!!) Anyway, the 2nd flush came up really, really, quickly and I harvested it. The result? So far this week I have had two of the most powerful trips I've ever had. I've no idea if it's just this species' potency, luck or something to do with my 'recycling' the 1st flush?!? Anyway, the visual effects and aural hallucinations have been simply divine. Today I chewed 5.5g dried and experienced months in the fields in manic, intense bliss. Aztec fractals everywhere around me; neon colours outlining all of nature. The Earth humming and singing in eternal waves guiding me via drumbeat voices through the countryside. Now I must sleep! I'm shattered!Rating

First yield in about 2-3 weeks. 6 yields all together, totaling about 500g. Dried to about 60g. Very easy to grow.
Don't be tempted to scratch off the fuzzy mould like stuff after a yield. It will leave patches of no future growth!
Potency is probably the strongest I have taken. 3g dried is enough for quite a strong trip. Was a little too much for one mate with funny consequences. He said "Literally, this is the most fucked I have ever been", while cradling his head in his arms. Some achievement for him. His mistake, probably keeping his eyes closed. The setting: Dark night with no moon but the sky was bright with the milkyway going across the sky like a blanket. Outside the cabin in the woods in october 2012. Built a fire and kept it going trough the whole trip.Rating
Mindset: Ready for a new level of experience. I wanted a deep trip but not too deep as I wanted to share this with my cousin who was with me.
Preparation: I prepared 14 grams of dried TC in a tea pot and added some fresh slices of ginger and some sweet thyme honey:)
The leftovers are always eaten from the tea pot:)
The trip: Started 10 minutes after I drank the first cup. Started feeling light and "tingly":) Always a nice feeling!
Then I started walking around barefoot in the grass, sucking electrons and giving mother earth free access to my body:) Sipping on my second cup of tea I stared at a fluffy white cloud and stood there until the visual effects really started to materialize in front of me. The whole distance between me and the cloud was starting to stand out as a web of signals beeing transmitted back and forth in a lightning speed. The cloud started to whirl around within itself and rays of energy was flowing around it making the surrounding area brighter. The stars up above started to shift from tiny little dots into crystal bright starshaped object with different triangular geometry. I stood for at least 10 minutes and thought of how wonderul it is to be able to have such visuals while beeing perfectly well:) Then I walked over to look at a hedge and the different trees surrounding the cabin. The hedge looked amazingly! Crystal clear details down to the very last atom...
The trees and the leaves was standing out against the sky as beautiful sculptures lit by the fire we had. The colors where shifting constantly as the flames rose and smoke gave substance to the air. That´s when I decided to have another cup:)
This cup I wanted to have while sitting down by the fire. Sipping tea while looking into the fire:) What can go wrong?
Amazed by the good feeling of weel beeing I stared to look at what was inside. Closed my eyes and where taken into subtle perfect machinery. Different from everytime I opened and closed my eyes. Time passed by without notice and all of a sudden I felt like having a toke from the pipe:) I shaved of some nice cuttings with a sharp knife and filled the screen of my great grandfathers pipe. Fired up and took two hits of hashiis smoke. Held it in as long as I could and turned on the new album from Dead Can Dance. Sat back down and floated into space where deep thoughts and beautiful entities live. Uninterupted in time and space I felt ME and nothing else surrounded by everything. We are everything:)
The music was very influentual to the flowing patterns of energy. The shapes where shifting and flowing with the rythms and sounds and some of the words visualized as thoughts and colors combined.
Woke up from this dreamlike state from raindrops kissing my face:) It started pouring down from a completly black sky!
The trip was almost over I realized so I went inside and got my raingear on. Outside it was raining and the morning was starting to break. Me and my cousin was walking around, talking about the meanings of what we´d been trough. When we sat down in the grass the raindrops where making everything look beautifully fresh and the green in everytin living stood out in perfect shades of green.
After a 6 hour trip with a calm return to "normality" we went to bed as the sun started to warm up the landscape. Birds started to sing again and the insects started their busy day. I went to bed feeling super! Slept for 4 hours and felt completley good.
I am fortunate enough to have a new fresh supply of TC blooming now and I know for sure that this is a very nice and comfortable shroom!

1g Psilocybe cubensis Treasure coastRating
Boiled in 1 cup of water for 10 minutes, then a teabag was added, to have a nice flavor.
Waited another 6 minutes.
Used a strain to get rid of the shrooms.
Drunk the cup of tea at like 20:40.
10 minutes later I started to realize the first effect; I was laughing about a word, they used in a commercial. After five more minutes I started to have the first visuals, it looked like a thin layer of fog, coming from the wall.
After 5 more minutes there were patterns, floating from up to down, the light changed, and pulsed.
The patterns became more and more clear, and then they turned into figures. They started to look like demons, but I didn’t interpret it negatively. I was just really happy about the fact, that I had my first trip, and thought, that those demons were the bad thoughts, we have in our everyday-life, that fall off while we’re on a trip.
I felt waves going through my body, waves of perception, and a split second it felt like having an orgasm. This happened several times.
When I was waving my hands around, they dragged along rainbows, so I played with this illusion for a while.
I was all alone, so I decided to take off my clothes, because it just felt way better to be naked. It was about 21:20, when I started to sing everything that came to my mind in an opera-voice.
The joy of producing music by myself was great, it felt like I was giving a whole concert, and my body was a whole orchestra!
I really wanted to communicate with friends, call them, and tell them about the trip, and how great it was. I wanted to share the feeling really much, but on the other side I had only 2 friends I could tell about the shrooms, but they both weren’t available.
So I decided to go on chatroulette, to talk to strangers about my trip, but then I realized, that they will get my nudity wrong, because they would think, I was a perv.
This led me to the thought, that we all should be naked, because it would make us all the same. We wouldn’t have any prejudices anymore, and could live peaceful with each other.
But I won’t tell more about my thoughts, because they were really private, and everybody should try tripping on their own, maybe they’ll have the same experience as me.
What I can say is, that my thoughts were really racing, I thought, that philosophers must have eaten mushrooms, and written it down, because I felt like I could write books full of philosophical texts.
About 3 hours after I’ve drank the first tea, I met a friend, and recognized, that the trip got weaker, so I ate another 0.5g in a soup.
I wanted to visit another friend, who celebrated his b-day in downtown, so I rode there with my bike. I quickly realized, that I don’t like being around (more than 2/3) people, especially, when they’re strangers.
At 1:30 I rode back home, and on the ride I had a summary-feeling. I was just summarizing the whole trip, and I had a really good feeling. Back at home I chilled for a while, till I wanted to sleep. I couldn’t calm down, rolling from the one side of the bed to the other, so I drank some grape-juice with 2 big spoons of dextrose.
Back to bed I was calm enough to sleep.
When I think about the trip now, I can’t remember the feeling itself, but only the fact that I felt really great. It is like a movie I’ve watched, or a story I was told. I think, this is a big point, which saves the body from getting addicted to psilocybin. I had a really great feeling, but I’m not urged to do it again, because I remember it only indirectly. I can decide by myself, when I have the next trip, neither my subconscious, nor my instincts. At the end I just can say: Try it yourself! Everybody’s different!

Will also in the future, at first look at "magic-mushrooms-shop" when i need some psilocybin mushrooms. It's easy, trustworthy and fast at the delivery.
