Spore syringe cubensis Natal Super Strength
Natal Super Strength (NSS) is a high-potency South African isolate — and, importantly, NOT the same species as Psilocybe natalensis, long marketed as a "Psilocybe natalensis" strain, NSS was reclassified as the recently described Psilocybe ochraceocentrata after Bradshaw et al. (2026) showed it sits in a different clade from true natalensis; we also sell genuine P. natalensis separately as True Natalensis. Available as a 10cc syringe with sterile needle and 2x alcohol prep wipes.

Natal Super Strength — often abbreviated as NSS — is a high-potency South African isolate — and, importantly, NOT the same species as Psilocybe natalensis. long marketed as a "Psilocybe natalensis" strain, NSS was reclassified as the recently described Psilocybe ochraceocentrata after Bradshaw et al. Caps are ochre to amber-brown with a distinctly darker centre (the "ochraceocentrata" name literally means "ochre-centred"), conic to convex. Stems are slender and white, bruising blue. Fruiting bodies are larger than typical cubensis.

Quick stats
- Species: Psilocybe ochraceocentrata
- Lineage: Wild South African Psilocybe ochraceocentrata, refined for cultivation
- Colonisation: 24–27°C
- Fruiting: 20–23°C
- Volume: 10cc
Growing notes
Colonisation runs at 24–27°C; fruit at 20–23°C with high humidity (90–95% RH) and steady fresh-air exchange. PE-family and high-potency strains in particular reward patience — don't rush to fruiting conditions, and keep sterile technique tight to limit contamination during the longer colonisation window.
How to use: Flame-sterilise the needle, inoculate your sterile substrate or liquid-culture jar through a self-healing port, then store unused syringes upright in a clean dark place.
Storage: 2–8°C in a sealed bag protects spore viability; do not freeze. Use within 6–12 months for best results.
Potency note: P. ochraceocentrata is widely reported as substantially more potent than typical P. cubensis. The species was formally described by Bradshaw et al. (2026); peer-reviewed lab data is still emerging.
Microscopy use only. Spores of Psilocybe ochraceocentrata are sold strictly for research, taxonomy and microscopy purposes. Cultivating mushrooms from these spores is illegal in many jurisdictions; please check your local laws. This product makes no medical claims.
