About the Colombian strain
The Colombian psilocybe cubensis originates from the tropical pastures and forest edges of Colombia, where it was found growing wild in cattle-grazed fields. It gained global recognition in the 1970s during the early mycological exploration of South American strains.
Colombian mushrooms produce thick, robust stems (50–120 mm) and golden-brown to caramel caps (30–70 mm) that deepen in colour as they mature. The strain grows slightly taller than average and is known for dense, heavy fruiting bodies that bruise prominently blue-green when handled.

Sooo, I got my box in little less than two weeks, first pins started to show after around two weeks and gave a bit more than 20g of dried shrooms (maybe 25 since I gave some a try). Second harvest in on its way but it seem far less productive, since a lot of it is growing from the sides. It's early to tell, but in comparisment it seems this kit makes smaller harvest than, say, Thai one that I tried last year, but resultung in stronger experience in the end. The GetMagic grow kit works great and incredibly easy to use.
Did one soak and got two harvests.
The layer of perlite at the bottom seems to make a good water reserve without having stagnant water.
The primordia formed in numbers on the vermiculite layer at the top.
I would recommend to put something on the sides of the box to avoid side pinning.
Since I didn't have any contams after two harvests, I decided to try something: broke the mycelium in small pieces and mixed it with coir in a container. 3 days after and it's growing like crazy. (Posted on 11/15/2023)
