So these heatmats are the worst thing you can do. Even with enough space between desk/heatmat/growbox, this thing gets too hot, worst case you will put the growbox directly on top, your growkit will be destroyed. OUTDATED information and NOT recommended.
Even with a thermostat, lower heat will kill your mycelium, you need to heat up your ambient space.
