McKennaii — para psiconautas experimentados
La variedad McKennaii fue desarrollada como homenaje al etnobotánico y escritor estadounidense Terence McKenna, conocido por explorar los límites de la conciencia psicodélica. La variedad hace honor a su homónimo: el McKennaii es considerado una de las variedades cubensis más potentes disponibles para el cultivo doméstico. Se recomienda a cultivadores que ya han adquirido experiencia con variedades más suaves como Golden Teacher o B+ y buscan una experiencia más intensa.
Aspecto y crecimiento
Las setas McKennaii tienen un aspecto distintivo. Los sombreros son de tamaño medio a grande, de un marrón cálido a menudo más claro en el centro, y adoptan una forma ligeramente acampanada a plana en la madurez. Los pies son robustos, densos y tienden a teñirse claramente de azul al tacto o la manipulación — un signo característico de alto contenido de psilocibina. Comparado con el Golden Teacher o el B+, el McKennaii crece algo más lento y produce cuerpos fructíferos más compactos pero más densos.
Qué esperar de este kit
Este kit FreshMushrooms® está completamente colonizado y listo para empezar nada más sacarlo de la caja — sin remojo, sin riego, sin preparación. Coloca el kit en la bolsa de cultivo, dobla la bolsa como se describe en las instrucciones, y mantén una temperatura estable de 23 °C. Los primeros pins aparecen generalmente entre los 10 y 14 días — el McKennaii requiere algo más de paciencia que variedades más rápidas como el B+.
La mayoría de los kits producen dos flushes. El primero ofrece el mayor rendimiento, seguido de un segundo flush tras un remojo en agua fría. El rendimiento total oscila entre 150 y 300 g de setas frescas aproximadamente, dependiendo de las condiciones y el cuidado.
Consejos de cultivo
El McKennaii es algo más exigente que las variedades para principiantes, pero recompensa el cuidado atento con resultados impresionantes. Mantén la temperatura lo más constante posible a 23 °C — las fluctuaciones ralentizan el crecimiento más que con variedades más tolerantes. Una esterilla térmica con termostato es muy recomendable. Evita la luz solar directa; luz natural indirecta o una simple lámpara de escritorio con ciclo 12/12 es suficiente. I got only two flushes, also not so much mushrooms in each one of them. Overall, growing was easy, maybe next time I will try growing without heat mat, hope that gives different results. I am grateful for the mushrooms that I did get!

Growing is easy. A week after opening the kit, the first mushrooms started. We got about 9 gram of dried mushrooms, that from our point of view covered the cost price. We had nice trip using it, a lot of laughs and good atmosphere. The second flash was more challenging as the temperature dropped. I bought the heating mat, and the second flash is ongoing now, and more mushrooms are growing. We'll harvest them in the next days.Clasificación

The shrooms themselves are ok, for me they give more physical trip, body starts to feel very heavy,and super light at the same time. They are very good tools to get yur mind out of everyday world and take a look at everything from other perspective.Clasificación
But I think that XP added is for marketing etc, because they did not felt more potent than shrooms from standart grow kits. Also the shrooms were very small. Got 4 harvests out of this grow kit, but the last one was only 3 small shrooms. Also the third harvest vas very small, with small shrooms.
Overall as I said - I expected a lot more from XP grow kit, I have managed to get way better results (more harvest and potency) from standart grow kits.

I found the manual to be a bit inconclusive, because it said nothing clear about how often to mist and it was a bit confusing about what's to do with a heat map and what to do without one, so I didn't get the best yield so far (about 18g dried after the second flush). But when the second flush didn't work as expected, I put the cake upwards, and then the little friends started growing big. They're strange fellas, with a huge stem and big (one ended up with 2.5g dried).Clasificación
Nonetheless, the quality and potency is superb. I found them tasting good, too. I took the whole first flush at once and for the second time in my life I talked with the mushroom spirit.
