- I've always bought mushroom kits from this store and have always been satisfied. This time, I noticed as soon as I received it that the cake was substandard. Any beginner would notice that the cake wasn't properly colonized. I followed all the instructions correctly, and it was the worst harvest I've ever had—very few mushrooms and almost no effect. It wasn't even worth the effort. I'm frustrated and will never buy from here again.
