Golden Teacher — la variedad de cubensis más icónica
Ninguna variedad ha marcado el mundo del cultivo de setas como el Golden Teacher. Apareció por primera vez en los años 80 — supuestamente encontrada creciendo silvestre en Florida — y se expandió rápidamente por los círculos de micología. Ningún cultivador ha reclamado su autoría. Simplemente apareció, demostró su valor y se quedó. Hoy sigue siendo la referencia contra la que se miden casi todas las demás variedades de Psilocybe cubensis.
El nombre lo dice todo: sombreros dorados y una reputación de guiar a cultivadores y usuarios a través de experiencias serenas y reflexivas. Golden Teacher es la variedad con la que la mayoría empieza — y a la que muchos siguen volviendo.
Aspecto
Las setas Golden Teacher son inconfundibles. Los sombreros tienen un cálido color dorado miel a ámbar, empiezan convexos y se aplanan gradualmente con un suave abultamiento central a medida que maduran. Algunos sombreros desarrollan un borde ligeramente ondulado a tamaño completo. Los pies son gruesos, robustos y blancos — en ocasiones con un leve tono azulado al manipularlos. Bajo el sombrero, láminas de color púrpura-marrón oscuro producen una generosa esporada. En conjunto, el Golden Teacher tiene un aspecto clásico y elegante: cuerpos fructíferos de tamaño medio a grande que crecen en racimos uniformes, haciendo del día de cosecha algo realmente satisfactorio.
Características de crecimiento
El Golden Teacher es una de las variedades más fáciles de cultivar. El micelio es agresivo — coloniza rápido y supera a posibles contaminantes. Tolera pequeñas fluctuaciones de temperatura y humedad sin detenerse, lo que la convierte en una opción ideal para quienes cultivan por primera vez. A pesar de esa resistencia, el Golden Teacher también recompensa a cultivadores experimentados con flushes fiables y repetibles. Espera setas de tamaño medio a grande que fructifican en racimos uniformes en lugar de ejemplares dispersos.
Qué esperar de este kit
Este kit FreshMushrooms® está completamente colonizado y listo para empezar nada más sacarlo de la caja — sin remojo, sin riego, sin preparación. Coloca el kit en la bolsa de cultivo, dobla la bolsa como se describe en las instrucciones, y mantén una temperatura estable de 23 °C. Los primeros pins aparecen generalmente entre los 7 y 10 días, con una primera cosecha completa a las dos semanas aproximadamente.
La mayoría de los kits producen dos flushes. El primero ofrece el mayor rendimiento, seguido de un segundo flush tras un remojo en agua fría. I ordered the Mondo and the Fresh Mushrooms "Golden Teacher" kits at the same time for comparison. I have followed the instructions exactly as stated on the respective pdfs (available on the website) for both grow kits.Clasificación

Package arrived in good time however i discovered a crack in the bottom of the container and was advised to cover this with tin foil and carry on. First flush almost complete after two weeks. No mushrooms grew in the centre of the box, they were all around the outside, and so far I only have about 10 mushrooms. However the total weight of the first flush is 190gm, with a few stragglers being picked in the next few days. Then will start my second flush. Everything worked great and my first experience with shrooms was awesome but not as insigtfull as I hoped but I think a higher dose might hit the spot. I do recommend that you find the grow guide from the website for this specific brand of grow kits since it is way easier to understand than the explanation found in the description. Altogether got about 8 grams dry on the first crop, which as a first time user I was happy with. The second flush produced 1 beast of a mushroom which gave me a good night just off that one. And it doesn't look like there will be a third flush.Clasificación
I definitely recommend this kit to any beginners, I would definitely recommend going from a spore syringe and learning how to grow your own from scratch for anyone that wants a much bigger grow.

No offence to magicmushroomshop but ive been a verry long customer these are by far the worst kits ive ever had baught 2 kits and 1st flushs came to 8grams dry in total shocking as for the double strenth claim its lies there actully weaker than mms own kits and alot less potent than supa gro followed instructions to a t so dissapointed actully puts me off buying from this site again sorry mms you have lost some of my trust ... De kit wilde niet starten ook niet na een ‘cold schock’... Na zeer succesvolle oogsten van eerdere grow kits vroeg ik om raad, het ging immers 3x eerder wel gewoon goed!! I’ve ordered from here a few times - always great service. These grew quickly and had a good yield. Only thing I would mention is that if you buy different strains the names aren’t on the plastic boxes - so don’t do what I did and take them out the white box without labelling... Package arrived on time. Very discreet - nothing in or outside the box gives any obvious clue as to the contents real purpose, apart maybe from the "reptile mat".Clasificación
On the first flush, 90% of the mushrooms sprouted from between the box and the mycelium, not sure why. Even so many grew quite large (the largest was 20g) and resulted in 220g first flush. While this is not as large as some have reported, I'm still well pleased with my first attempt - and there's still the next flushes to look forward to.
Brilliant kit, fascinating to grow, highly recommended.

Not sure why but mushrooms grew only on one side of the kit. I got three flushes, and definitely enough mushrooms in total though, so I'm satisfied. also don't know why they are called extra strong because they seem to have same strength and effect as other kinds.
