mat saved my farm as temperatures started to drop periodically to around 17-18 degrees indoors. Unfortunately, I do not consider the mat a perfect solution to the problem and the harvest will probably be smaller than if I decided to start growing in the summer. It looks like a few large mushrooms will sprout (e.g. after 4 days / second flush) and most of them are unfortunately tiny and growing very slowly. This is necessary if you live in cold places but be careful you do not make it too hot! It had happened to me in the past. The problem is not the heating mat but you being careful, best to also get a thermometer to check the temp. every now and then and do not allow it to go too high (you do not want to dry your substrate or kill the mycel). Placed it onto a fire-safe piece of ceramic with some metal diffusers, the temperature is always from 21c to 24c, always in the optimum range. (Publicado en 20/11/2019)Clasificación - Good job

Most sources (including the gudes on here) will tell you to put smthn in between the heat mat amd the kit, however that I am on flush 2 and the surface is barley colonised. Almost all of them are on the sides near the heat source.Clasificación
But when measured with an ir gun the surface has 23-24° comming of it.
