Die McKennaii-Sorte wurde als Hommage an den amerikanischen Ethnobotaniker und Autor Terence McKenna gezüchtet, der dafür bekannt war, die Grenzen des psychedelischen Bewusstseins zu erforschen. Die Sorte macht ihrem Namensgeber alle Ehre: McKennaii gilt als eine der potentesten Cubensis-Sorten, die für den Heimanbau verfügbar sind. Sie wird Züchtern empfohlen, die bereits Erfahrung mit milderen Sorten wie Golden Teacher oder B+ gesammelt haben und eine intensivere Erfahrung suchen.
Aussehen und Wachstum
McKennaii-Pilze haben ein markantes Erscheinungsbild. Die Hüte sind mittelgroß bis groß, von einem warmen Braun, das zur Mitte hin oft heller wird, und nehmen bei Reife eine leicht glockenförmige bis flache Form an. Die Stiele sind kräftig, dicht und neigen dazu, sich bei Berührung oder Beschädigung deutlich blau zu verfärben — ein typisches Merkmal für hohen Psilocybingehalt. Im Vergleich zu Golden Teacher oder B+ wächst McKennaii etwas langsamer und produziert kompaktere, aber dichtere Fruchtkörper.
Was dich mit diesem Kit erwartet
Dieses FreshMushrooms® Kit ist vollständig kolonisiert und sofort startklar — kein Einweichen, kein Gießen, keine Vorbereitung nötig. Stelle das Kit in den Zuchtbeutel, falte den Beutel wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, und halte eine konstante Temperatur von 23 °C. Die ersten Pins erscheinen in der Regel innerhalb von 10 bis 14 Tagen — McKennaii braucht etwas mehr Geduld als schnellere Sorten wie B+.
Die meisten Kits liefern zwei Flushes. Der erste bringt den größten Ertrag, ein zweiter Flush folgt nach einem Kaltwasser-Einweichen. Der Gesamtertrag liegt bei etwa 150 bis 300 g frischen Pilzen, abhängig von Bedingungen und Pflege.
Tipps für den Anbau
McKennaii ist etwas anspruchsvoller als anfängerfreundliche Sorten, belohnt aber sorgfältige Pflege mit beeindruckenden Ergebnissen. Halte die Temperatur möglichst konstant bei 23 °C — Schwankungen verlangsamen das Wachstum stärker als bei toleranteren Sorten. Eine Heizmatte mit Thermostat ist sehr empfehlenswert. Fast delivery, First flush came fast, after it the box began to come green. Four mushrooms of second flush came out before everything molded. Maybe the hot temperatures that july, other boxes flushed 4-5 times. Anyways great product. Only the penis envy is stronger but much harder to grow. I found the manual to be a bit inconclusive, because it said nothing clear about how often to mist and it was a bit confusing about what's to do with a heat map and what to do without one, so I didn't get the best yield so far (about 18g dried after the second flush). But when the second flush didn't work as expected, I put the cake upwards, and then the little friends started growing big. They're strange fellas, with a huge stem and big (one ended up with 2.5g dried).Klassifizierung
Nonetheless, the quality and potency is superb. I found them tasting good, too. I took the whole first flush at once and for the second time in my life I talked with the mushroom spirit. The kit gave 3 flushes, 2nd one was not that good, but I think it was my fault, because you have to be really careful with the hygiene.
Haven't tried them yet, but friends did and were perfectly satisfied :)

After seven days, the first pins could be seen, but only on about a third of the surface. The mushrooms grew very quickly and also looked good. Dried to me, from the first flush 11.49g, that's not exactly much.Klassifizierung
I tried 3.50g of dried mushrooms two days ago and unfortunately had to realise, that there was no notable effect. The only thing, that was felt, was that initial feeling when it starts after 20-25mins. This first, slight tingling,... More didn't come.
The second flush produced exactly four mushrooms, that was all. The things have landed right in the barrel. That was really disappointing overall, neither the crowd nor the impact, both were underground:(

i dont know, probably i did some things wrong..
