Effects of Sakae Naa

Sakae Nae has stimulating, motivating and energizing effects. It’s a physical and mental pick-me-up, similar to cafeine. Sakae Naa also works mildly sedating and relaxing. Sakae Naa is presently a popular Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) substitute. Both are Sakae Naa stimulating substances, but the euphoric effects of Kratom are largely absent in Sakae Naa.

How to use Sakae Naa Extract ?

Use Sakae Naa extract to brew tea. The recommended dose is about 0.5 gram, but experienced users can attempt a higher dose of 1 gram. Steep the extract in hot water for 15 minutes.

History

Sakae Naa or Combretum Quadrangulare is a tree from the Combretacea family. It is originally found in the rain forests of Southeast Asia, for instance in Myanmar, Thailand and Laos. In these countries, the seeds of Sakae Naa are traditionally used as a remedy against parasitic worms, while the roots are a known treatment for venereal diseases. The leaves can relieve muscle pains.

In Thailand, Kratom is illegal. Farmers often cultivate Sakae Naa trees to replace Kratom. The leaves of the trees are smoked or chewed for their stimulating and mildly narcotic effects.
