Magic Mushrooms Are Legal in New Mexico: How 'Bout That?

Who would've thought that the State of New Mexico, the Land of Breaking Bad blue ''meth'' candy would be so open to Magic Mushrooms?

It's been 10 years now that the New Mexico Court of Appeals decided that  growing hallucinogenic mushrooms wasn’t illegal.  Amazing is it not?  they are legal  to grow, to eat the fruit but not to posses dried ones...

But does that mean that everybody is running around  selling and using in nightclubs and parties?   No, the more you take them, the more demure and humble you will feel they are in terms of what their teachings are.

Get High During Dinner at This Fancy Restaurant

How about dining at a fine gastronomic restaurant while you slowly ''vape'' your cannabis at the table?  This is the story www.munchies.vice.com brings you this week.

It's all happening at the Greenhouse Kitchen in Amsterdam, not only with weed, but also with a selection of different herbs and spices, ''you will feel the aromas in your mind, body and soul'' as they mention on their web site.

In a country with such a rich cannabis culture, a restaurant like Green House Kitchen is a welcomed addition. The place has, perhaps without even knowing it, tapped into a new way of thinking around this ancient, intoxicating herb

So there you have it, although you can ''vape'' the night away with your favorite herb,  the restaurant is not allowed to sell it to patrons, son bring your own stash!

Ruling in Mexico Sets Into Motion Legal Marijuana

Good news just keeps on coming in!

The Mexican Supreme Court opened the door to legalizing marijuana last week.  This is an important decision as it delivers a challenge to Mexico's strict substance abuse laws and it brings to the forefront the debate about the costs and consequences of the war against drugs.

The decision declares that individuals should have the right to grow and distribute marijuana for their personal use.

Many other Latin American countries are debating and acting in the same manner.

President Enrique Peña Nieto said his government would respect the Supreme Court’s decision, but his government, legislators and security and health officials all oppose legalization, as does the Roman Catholic Church, will this initiative go further?
